Vid of the week

I promised a video post and here it is, folks! I've decided to take you on a tour of my appart and bore you to tears all in one go. My skillz even amaze me. Note that I actually say "note" and "actually" approximately 5,000 times. It's a disease. Ok, so that's a blatant lie, but I dunno...I had to keep talking and that's what just came out! And talk I did, wowza! On that note, I will leave you to "enjoy" Leah's Appart Tour 2008.

PS-Here is a link to an interview with Cheaty McCheaterson aka Jodie Foster speaking her excellent French. Bizznatch.

"Foster attended a French-speaking prep school, the Lycée Français de Los Angeles, and graduated valedictorian." -from wikipedia

French-speaking high school in the U.S.?? Hmmm... ;-)

she is SUCH a cheaty mccheaterson! in any case, i think we're doing pretty damn good despite the fact that we didn't go to a french immersion school :)

also, something to add to your list of things that annoy us in france: the stupid couples who are always kissing or humping or whatever EVERYWHERE. gahhh so annoying!

Anonymous- Yeah, she was also fluent by the time she was 12 or 13. I wish I could have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to go to a bilingual school. Alas....sigh.

Victoria- Thanks! Yeah, I think I'll hang on to her for a bit more. ;)

Alisa- I mean, I don't compare myself to her because she has a totally different experience from me, but I'm still jealous. I still think I do pretty awesome most of the time, but I always try to get better. Not the accent, but more the fluidity and I always like to learn new slang. Thank goodness for those roomies for that!
PS-I TOTALLY hear you about those couples...don't get me started! Grr.
