Yesterday, upon getting on the bus to go meet up with friends, I say my normal bonjour to the bus driver expecting anything from a lack of response to an obligatory return-the-favor-kind-of bonjour while the driver looks straight ahead into nothing. Instead, I get a huge grin ear-to-ear and an enthusiastic and happy bonjour directed right at me. I nearly turn right around and sprint off that bus, I mean, people going out of their way to be friendly and actually smiling? Something must be wrong with this person! Either that or he's half-anglo!!!
Quoiiiiii?!?!?

Have you ever been in Picard? Cuz the cashiers there are always like the nicest people I've ever met, no matter which one I go into - they're all "Can I help you find something?" and "Did you find everything you were looking for?" And when they souhaite you a bon après-midi, they actually look at you and smile. I've always wondered if it was company policy, or just random luck.
Yeah, this happens every once in a while -- and because it's so freakin' uncommon, you can't help but wonder if there's something wrong with the person! Or if there's somethin' fishy goin' on...
OMG!
Yeah!
Why _are_ the cashiers at Picard to happy? I mean, I'm not complaining, I'm just saying---"Gimme some of whatever it is they're drinking."
I've been to Picard, but it was a looooong time ago, so I don't really remember. I guess it is a good thing, though, that I'm not dwelling on awesome customer service from 5 years ago. That'd be pretty freakin bad!
